I will always maintain that time spent with the camera is good, whatever the weather and this was certainly a case in point.
Looking outside a few hours earlier, the sky was overcast with a few drops of rain already starting to accumulate on the window. Why bother eh?
Well for me photography, first and foremost, is all about getting outside in nature, to connect with my environment and in some way improve my own mental health. The potential to capture an image is secondary, which may sound strange coming from someone who makes his income from this pursuit.
Grabbing the X100T I made my way up to White Rocks Beach, an area that I’ve shot at many times before. I had a few other bits of my camera gear with me but within 5 minutes of arriving knew that the evening would be spent with my trusty X100T.
As always images are JPEG, this time with the Classic Chrome Film Simulation along with minimal (if any) post processing.
